Below is a first look at the agenda for WMX Americas 2027.

The past year has undergone changes more than the previous decade. De minimis ended and 88 postal operators suspended services to the United States. US customs now expects postal volumes to fall by more than half by 2030. Across the Americas, national posts are restructuring under real financial pressure.

Hear from industry professionals on how they are navigating these changes, and what they feel the industry will look like in the next 5 years.

Day ONE // MONDAY 15TH February 2027

19.00 // WELCOME TO MIAMI, EVENING DRINKS RECEPTION!
Join us for an evening of drinks and canapes on the Ocean Lawn, overlooking the Atlantic and situated on Miami Beach. The perfect setting to connect with your fellow delegates before two days of conversation begin!

Day Two // TUESDAY 16TH February 2027

09.30 // WELCOME TO MIAMI

Triangle’s CEO opens WMX Americas 2027, welcoming delegates to Miami and setting the tone for three days of networking, bold conversation, and strategic insight.

09.35 // THE EXEMPTION ISN’T COMING BACK: LIFE AFTER DE MINIMIS, HOSTED BY ZONOS

The United States removed the de minimis exemption. Europe followed with a 3-euro flat charge and is expected to move to full tariffs by 2028. USMCA’s July review, rather than renewing cleanly, started a rolling annual cycle. The direction of travel is now unmistakable, and few expect the rest of the world to sit it out. This panel deals with what that means in practice: what compliance actually requires today, who carries the liability when a classification is wrong, and what is coming next.

11.15 // KEYNOTE: THE AMERICAN POST IN 2027, WHERE GROWTH COMES FROM NOW

A 10-minute opening to set the scene. Where does growth come from once cost-cutting runs out, and what is a national delivery and retail network actually worth to businesses that want to use it?

11.30 // NATIONAL POSTS: WHAT CHANGES, WHAT’S NEXT, AND WHAT WE’LL STOP DOING. HOSTED BY UPAEP

National posts are under more pressure than ever. Regulatory upheaval, financial pressure and the push to modernise have all landed at once. Senior leaders from across the Americas each take the stage with their own account: what changed this year, what it forced them to do, and where they go next. A frank conversation about universal service, lost inbound volume, and the services they are preparing to stop.

13.30 // FIVE FOUNDERS, FIVE MINUTES: THE START-UPS REDEFINING DELIVERY

The founders of the industry’s most interesting young companies take the stage for five minutes each: what they’re building, the problem it solves, and where they believe delivery goes next. The fastest session of the conference, and the one most likely to show you something you haven’t seen before.

15.15 // SHOW ME THE RETURN: WHAT AI ACTUALLY DID TO COST, HEADCOUNT, AND RISK THIS YEAR

Every operator in this room has an AI programme. Far fewer can say what it returned. This session covers the APIs quietly powering the digitisation of the industry, at what volume automation genuinely pays in a Latin American cost base, where a routing model still loses to a driver who knows the street, and whether AI took cost out of the contact centre or simply moved it into engineering. It also covers how AI is now being used against the network, as cargo theft shifts from bolt cutters to compromised logins.

Day Three // Wednesday 17th February 2027

10.00 // WHAT IT NOW COSTS TO CROSS A BORDER: FOLLOW THE VOLUME

No single player owns the delivery experience anymore. It is assembled across carriers, technology platforms and retailers: and the customer judges all three on the weakest link. As multi-carrier becomes the default and AI assistants compare delivery promises before a transaction even exists, alignment across the chain has turned from good practice into a commercial requirement.

11.45 // FUEL, GRID & PAPERWORK: THE THREE SUSTAINABILITY DECISIONS FACING THE AMERICAS

The region is building. Latin America passed ten thousand electric buses this year across more than eighty cities, Mexico’s public charging network grew by almost a quarter, and Brazil is constructing its first large-scale ethanol-to-jet plant at up to ten thousand barrels a day.

13.45 // NO ADDRESS, NO DOORSTEP, NO SIGNATURE: THE ECONOMICS OF THE FINAL STRETCH

Three honest trade-offs, put to the operators who have to live with them. Where does an electric van genuinely beat diesel in São Paulo or Mexico City, and where does grid access make it impossible whatever the spreadsheet says? Are carbon-transformed fuels and sustainable aviation fuels a lever this decade or the next, and has any customer in this region ever actually paid more for one? And what does it cost to report against standards no regulator here requires, arriving through European customers rather than domestic law?
